Ferndown: A Pictorial History

Using almost 200 photographs and captions, this book charts the rise of Ferndown over the last 100 years from a modest village on the East Dorset heath into the fifth biggest town in Dorset. Roger also wrote the extended introduction summarising the history of Ferndown and surrounding communities such as Hampreston, Longham, Stapehill and Tricketts Cross while local historian Audrey provided many of the pictures.
