Dorset Murders

Dorset Murders grew out of Roger’s use of court and prison records in his research for Dorset Smugglers and a conversation with the experienced publisher Roy Gasson. The result is an in-depth look at 12 of Dorset’s most shocking – or most intriguing – murders, including the killing of John Brown by his jealous wife near Broadwindsor in 1856, the Rattenbury cause celebre in 1930s Bournemouth and the poisoning of Fred Bryant by his wife near Sherborne in 1935.
